A cup of authentic chickmagalur filter coffee with paddy field and plantation view is perfect for a short break from a drive or a ride. Ample parking space with clean restroom is a bliss. If you pass by this place in the evenings do try out snacks.

Stopped here for a coffee on my way back from Sringeri and enjoyed the view from the shop as well as the piping hot coffee. They also have options to stay here and in general the places looks clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend this as a quick pit stop for some hot coffee.

Nice open air ambience, place surrounded by mountains n malnad greenery! The green board "Tunga Cafe" put up on the road side attracts travellers from a distance of 500 mtrs and the hotel is a simple place with chairs and tables put outside under an asbestos sheeted roof. A common toilet facility is provided that was not visited and hence can not review that. But the food, available to us at 2.30 in the afternoon was freshly fried, big size poories, very tasty with the veg saagu to go with it. A waiting period of about 10-15 mins was worth it. Very tasty, hot n strong filtered coffee brought total satisfaction! Attached is a stores where bottled Cool drinks, kurkures like chakli, Chow chow, coffee powder, biscuits etc are kept. Some malnad spice powders and pickles are also available. A fish tank is there to amuse the children and adults alike. Soothing to watch the movements of the gold fish! It's a Home Stay with 3 guest rooms, rs.500/- rent per head, per night. (Non AC). Extra beds available for extra cost. Hot water 24 hrs, Colour TV also provided. A lady manages the kitchen and is very warm n friendly. Good experience that I can recommend to others! Visited again after 3 days on our return journey. Made it a point to check the toilet. Clean n neat with running water. The flushing knob is broken but they have created an ingenious method to flush! And to top it all, 3 friendly dogs to play with!

We had a coffee break in this place while going to sringeri from Horanadu. Owner Suma was good behavioural and we had a chat with her about the climate and lifestyle in this location. Also we purchased original coffee powder here. One of th best places to take some coffee break while going towards sringeri

Nice stopover with amazing coffee!! We stopped over on our way to Sringeri and the aunty there makes amazing coffee.. Also, the place is spacious with ample amount of parking space. Perfect place to enjoy a hot sip of coffee with nice views around!!
